In this lesson we’re going to study an amazing pair of chords that create a wonderfully dark and funky mood together. These are chords 6- and 5D from the major scale.
The 6- chord is a minor chord and it acts as our tonal center, feeling like home. The 5D chord is a funky dominant chord that gives us a playful departure from the 6 chord.
Because these are two adjacent chords from the major scale, they have almost no chord tones in common. This gives us many beautiful Melody Paths that you’re going to LOVE singing with me!
