Each jam track is a complete lesson
Every IFR jam track is a complete lesson in harmony and improvisation. Each jam track builds on concepts you learned in earlier tracks, and each track is accompanied by illustrations, teaching notes and practice tips.
In IFR Jam Tracks Level 3, we will add the more exotic chords of the major scale to your repertoire: the 2 chord, the 3 chord and the 7 chord. These chords combine with the chords you have already learned to create a wide variety of important chord progressions that appear in popular music.
Master 15 new chord progressions in all keys
This collection will teach you 15 essential chord progressions that appear in modern jazz, blues, pop, R&B and latin styles. Each chord progression comes with backing tracks in all 12 keys. If you’re just starting out, you can build your confidence in the keys that are easiest for you to play. If you’re more advanced, you can target just the keys that you need to work on. And every jam track includes special versions for bass and piano so you can practice playing the bass lines and chords yourself.

Special focus on the 2-5-1 chord progression
The 2-5-1 progression is the most important chord progression in all jazz music, and it appears in almost every jazz standard ever written. This collection includes a special focus on the 2-5-1 progression, breaking it down across several lessons to help you master the inner workings of this important progression.
"With IFR we are allowed to create freely, without restrictions, without 'shoulds'. Like kids playing with toys in a sandbox, with nobody watching."
